PRESIDENT - Dan Clark
CFL and SASK 2009-2023
Dan Clark was signed by the Roughriders in 2009 after an illustrious junior career with the local Regina Thunder. He would go on to be a unanimous selection for Most Outstanding Offensive Lineman in 2019 and also a CFL League All Star. He would retire in 2023 after playing in 131 games for the Green and White over 12 seasons. Dan currently resides in Regina with his wife and 2 children.
PAST PRESIDENT - Quinn Magnuson
CFL 1993-1997 / SSK 1994 -1995
Saskatoon, Saskatchewan born, Quinn had a standout HS career with Holy Cross in Saskatoon winning 2 Provincial Championships. He then attended Washington State University on a Football scholarship where he played four years (1989-1993) with the Cougars. Quinn was taken in the 6th Rd. 45th overall in the 1993 CFL Entry Draft by the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. He would go on to play for the Sask Roughriders in 1994, the Ottawa Rough Riders in 1995, and Montreal Alouettes in 1996. Quinn's cousin is Former Rider Steve Mazurak and his Uncle Keith played and coached in the NHL for the Chicago Blackhawks from 1969 - 1982.
Quinn and his wife Kirsten have two children (Annika 23, Leif 20). Leif is a scholarship football player at the University of Arizona. They have made their home in Saskatoon where he is a Senior Partner of Advisory Services for the BDC (Business Development Bank of Canada). Quinn is very involved with coaching youth sports and continues to give of his time and experience to the community. He loves music, and is an accomplished drummer.
CFLAA LIAISON - Rob Bresciani
CFL 1985 - 1990 / SSK 1988 - 1989
Past Alumni President Rob Bresciani was originally selected by the Roughriders (39th overall) in the 1985 CFL Draft. Rob would play 1987-1989 with the Riders as a Fullback / Slotback and Special Teams, winning a Grey Cup ring with the 1989 Team!
Since then "Bresch" has become a very accomplished businessman. He has owned and operated a variety of successful businesses including Applause Dinner Theater (20 years), Sommerville Safe and Lock (10 years) and Winchester Management (15 years).
Bresciani, who played with Calgary, Saskatchewan and Ottawa, has been very active in the community, both through his business dealings and the Roughrider Alumni. According to Bresciani the Saskatchewan Roughrider Alumni believe in giving back to grass roots of the sport that treated them so well. “Our main fundraising charity is minor football across Saskatchewan, but we also like to support numerous children’s charities,” said Bresciani.
Director of Alumni Relations and Recruitment - Dan Rashovich
CFL 1984 -1999 / SSK 1987 - 1999
Dan Rashovich was considered one of the CFL’s best special team players during his 16-year career with Ottawa, Toronto, Montreal and Saskatchewan. The Toronto born Rashovich was very well liked and respected by his teammates and opponents for his passion and enthusiasm for the game…The Simon Fraser University grad was drafted 13th overall by the Ottawa Rough Riders in 1984. He joined the Saskatchewan Roughriders in 1987, and spent 13 years with them. Dan was also the Roughriders starting linebacker on the 1989 Grey Cup Championship team.
Director - Community Partnerships - Belton Johnson
CFL 2006 - 2012 / SSK 2007 - 2009
Belton is a native of Coffeeville, MS and has made Regina, SK his home as he continues his career with SGI. His professional football career spanned a total of 10 years. 3 years in the NFL (Cincinnati) and seven in the CFL, including four with the Saskatchewan Roughriders (GC Champ '07). Belton and his wife Robin, have three children; Tyler, Maximus and Alma. He is a self proclaimed "foodie" and is the current co-host of Rider Gameday.
TREASURER - Rob Pyne
CFL 1972 - 1974 / SSK 1972 - 1973
"Pyner" played for the Saskatchewan Roughriders, Winnipeg Blue Bombers, and Calgary Stampeders from 1972 through 1974. He played for the Regina Rams in the Canadian Junior Football League from 1969 to 1971, during which time the Rams won two National Junior Football Championships (1970 and 1971). He attended Luther College high school in Regina, Saskatchewan where he excelled at Basketball and Football.
