Below are a couple of videos links from the Gridiron Greats Induction Dinner (Las Vegas, June 12 ). The induction speeches of Ray Elgaard and Fred Biletnekoff. There were 800+ in attendance mostly NFL connected except for 3 tables of Ray’s friends and family. You will hear them cheer when he is introduced.
Ray does a great job. Fred begins his speech with a great endorsement of the CFL. He is good friends with Wally and Jeff Tedford. He bought a place outside of Kamloops when he was coaching with the Stamps and has gone back every year for the last 30. He played for the Alouettes in 1980 with Vince Feragamo, Billy White Shoes Johnson, Tom Coussineau (1st round pick out of Ohio State) and David Overstreet (Oklahoma),
